Can’t help it, I’m a cartoonist!
My artistic practice is cartooning, not just because I draw comics – for me cartooning is an approach that can be used for many types of media. Cartooning is play with readable signs as well as their manipulation. In its silliness cartooning offers us the ability to redraw depressing topics in a different, emotionally accessible way. Ultimately, I believe in cartooning as a coping strategy and a tool for transformation! ✨
